David Granirer is a counselor, stand-up comedian, and the founder of Stand Up for Mental Health, a program that teaches stand-up comedy to people living with mental health conditions.
David lives with bipolar disorder and has spent more than two decades helping people use humor to challenge stigma and build confidence.
Since launching the program in 2004, he has trained performers in more than 50 cities across Canada, the United States, and Australia.
Through live performances, training programs, and speaking engagements, David helps audiences see mental health in a new light while empowering participants to tell their stories in their own voice.
