Get Ready to Glow, Compete and Sing for Hope

Glow For Hope is bringing a full evening of friendly competition, music and glowing fun to The Hut Sports Bar & Grill on August 29, 2026.

Grab a partner and compete in the inaugural Cup of Hope Glow Pong Tournament, or step up to the microphone during Voice of Hope Karaoke, dress in your brightest glow attire and help support Glow For Hope’s work to make conversations about mental health more approachable and help people feel less alone.

Cup of Hope Glow Pong Tournament

The Cup of Hope Glow Pong Tournament will feature two-person teams competing on glow-themed tables for the inaugural championship title. This is a 6-cup Beer Pong setup. 

Tournament registration is:

• $25 per player
• $50 total per two-person team
• Limited to 16 teams
• Advance registration required
• Each player must register individually

Important Team Registration Information

Both members of the team must complete their own registration and payment. See registration form below.

During registration, each player will be asked to provide:

• Their team name
• Their teammate’s name
• Their shirt size
• Their contact information

Please make sure both players enter the same team name so we can match your registrations.

A team’s spot is not confirmed until both players have registered and paid.

Tournament Format

• Two-person teams
• Double-elimination tournament
• Two glow pong tables
• Tournament rules reviewed before play begins
• Signature purple Cup of Hope incorporated into tournament play
• Final rules and bracket details provided at check-in

Participants do not need to consume alcohol to compete. Water or another approved nonalcoholic beverage may be used during tournament play.

Cup of Hope Champion Prize

The winning team will receive:

• The inaugural Cup of Hope Championship Trophy
• A $100 The Hut gift card
• Inaugural champion bragging rights

Voice of Hope Karaoke

Not a beer pong officianado? It’s okay, if you love to sing, enter the Voice of Hope Karaoke Contest for a chance to be named the inaugural Voice of Hope Champion.

The Voice of Hope Champion will receive:

• A $50 The Hut gift card
• A Voice of Hope trophy or award
• Inaugural champion bragging rights

Karaoke contest entry: $10, includes admission

Contest registration, judging details and finalist procedures will be announced before the event.

Best Dressed Glow Team

Come dressed to glow!

Teams are encouraged to coordinate their brightest, boldest and most creative glow-themed outfits. The winning Best Dressed Glow Team will receive something special.

Creativity, team spirit and overall glow will all be considered.

Event Shirts

Glow Pong participants who register by August 14th will receive an official event shirt in the size selected during registration.

Because shirts must be ordered in advance, sizes cannot be guaranteed for registrations completed after the deadline. Any remaining shirts will be available only while supplies last.

Registering early also helps us confirm the tournament bracket and determine whether all available team spots have been filled.

Schedule times are approximate and may shift depending on tournament play.

Signature Drinks

The Hut will offer special Glow For Hope-inspired cocktails and mocktails throughout the evening.

A portion of designated drink sales will benefit Glow For Hope.

Guests are encouraged to enjoy responsibly. 

A $5 donation at the door is requested from guests who are not registered tournament participants. Door donations benefit Glow For Hope.

Registration

Glow Pong Player Registration — $25 Per Person

Each player must register and pay individually.

Before beginning, please know:

• Your team name
• Your teammate’s full name
• Your shirt size
• Whether you need help finding a partner

Registration deadline: August 27th
Shirt guarantee deadline: August 14th
Tournament capacity: 16 teams / 32 players

Both players must register before the team is officially confirmed.

Registration Policies

• Tournament registration is limited and available on a first-paid, first-confirmed basis.
• Both team members must complete individual registrations.
• A registration does not reserve an entire team slot until the second player has registered.
• Players must be checked in by 6:30pm.
• Teams that do not check in on time may forfeit their place in the bracket.
• Registration fees are NONREFUNDABLE.
• Registrations may be transferred to another eligible player by contacting Glow For Hope before August 28th.
• Event shirts and requested sizes are only guaranteed when registration is completed by the published shirt deadline.
• Participants must follow tournament, venue and responsible-conduct rules.
• Glow For Hope and The Hut reserve the right to remove any participant whose conduct creates an unsafe or disruptive environment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my teammate register for both of us?

No. Each player must complete an individual registration and pay the $25 player fee.

How will our registrations be matched?

Both players should enter the same team name and identify one another as teammates during registration.

What happens if only one team member registers?

The team will remain incomplete and will not receive a confirmed tournament spot until the second player registers.

Can I register without a teammate?

You may request to be matched with another player. Matching depends on availability and is not guaranteed.

Do I have to drink alcohol to participate?

No. Alcohol consumption is not required. Water or another approved nonalcoholic beverage may be purchased during tournament play.

Is this traditional beer pong?

The event uses the familiar structure of pong but is being presented as a Glow For Hope recreational tournament. Final rules, approved beverages and the role of the signature Cup of Hope will be explained before play begins.

Is the karaoke contest only for tournament players?

No. Karaoke participation is open to event guests, subject to venue and contest rules.

Do I need to preregister for karaoke?

No, you can register at the door.

Are shirts included?

Official event shirts are included for registered Glow Pong players who complete registration by the published shirt deadline.

What should I wear?

Glow, neon, black-light-reactive clothing and coordinated team outfits are encouraged. A Best Dressed Glow Team prize will be awarded.

Can I attend without playing?

Absolutely. Join us for karaoke, food, drinks, entertainment and the overall event experience. A $5 donation at the door benefits Glow For Hope.

Is this event exclusive to this venue?

No. The Cup of Hope Glow Pong Tournament and Voice of Hope Karaoke are being developed as a signature Glow For Hope event experience that may be replicated at participating venues throughout the region.
